My Last Post

Dover Demon

For my last post I choose the Dover Demon because the story originates in Dover, Massachusetts and I'm from Massachusetts.

History

The Dover Demon's story originates in 1977, April 21 in Dover Massachusetts a 17 yearold boy, William Bartlett claimed he saw a large-eye creature, with tendril-like fingers and glowing eyes on top of a broken wall on Farm street in Dover. On the same evening a 15 yearold boy, John Baxter reported seeing the same creture as William in the heavily wooded area on Miler Hill road. Lastly another 15 year old girl named Abby Brabham, claimed to have seen the creature the folowing night sitting upright on springdale avenue. After all of this all the teeneagers were told to sketch out what they had sawn and all drew very similiar pictures. The police of Dover just believed this was a bunch of high school kids playing a hoax on the town. Cryptolgist today say this creature could have been a foal or a moose calf. Further more, the Dover Demon did in fact go on and gain world wide attention and drew comparison to Bigfoot and the Locheness monster. The Dover Demon is not associated with aliens.

Physical Discription

The Dover Demon is described as looking "gray, except that it has skin of a rosy orange instead of sickly gray. The Dover Demon has a large head on a small, stick-like body. It can be bipedal, but it often travels on all fours or switches back and forth between crawling and walking. It has eyes that glow orande and green. It does not seem to wear any clothing unless the clothing fits tightly and is the same color as its body.

  1. Huh. So it isn't an alien, but a real animal? Hopefully they don't happen to migrate over to Boston...imagine the panic!
